Port Kembla Coal Terminal is one of the worlds largest coal exporting facilities situated on Australia’s East coast, 72km south of Sydney. It services two of the nations richest coal reserves, the southern and western coalfields of New South Wales, exporting high quality coking and steaming coal to customers around the world.
Brandculture was engaged to create an online face for the coal terminal, bringing the company into the 21st century both in terms of aesthetics and technological usability. PKCT has a strong commitment to the environment and local community, this was reflected through the websites language and visual style.

The launch of the brochure-ware stage of the website in early 2006 will be followed by a fully integrated system that will allow the online management of resources throughout the facility by operational staff and customers alike.
PKCT staff have a strong sense of pride in the work they do so it was important to reflect this.
The simple and light visual language was carried across a series of downloadable pdfs, which relate to news, environmental responsibility, company policies and training. |
